The time has come, the walrus said ...

Gosford Council's director of works, Mr Stephen Glen, has told Council the last four mowings along the railway line at Woy Woy had taken place in December, February, March and April.

Cr Lynne Bockholt had asked when the grassy areas each side of the railway line were to be slashed or mown.

Mr Glen said: "The criteria for mowing grass verge areas is for grass height to reach between 15cm and 20cm."
