Enrolments are open

Ettalong Public School is now accepting enrolments for Kindergarten 2001.

Enrolment forms can be obtained by phoning the school on 4341 3655 or by calling at the school office.

Ettalong Public School offers a Headstart Program, which allows the children to become familiar with most aspects of school life before they begin Kindergarten.

The children come to school for 1.5 hours per week, for 10 weeks, in the year before they begin school, where they meet the teachers and get to know the routines.

This program prepares the children for big school and has proven to settle many of the fears for most children and parents.

It also allows the children to begin learning from day one at Kindergarten.

Headstart begins this year on Wednesday, August 16, for children enrolled at Ettalong Public School for 2001.

A parent information evening will be held in the school library on Wednesday, August 1, at 7pm.
