Youth Council meets at Web

The Gosford City Youth Council meets today at the Web Youth Centre, Woy Woy, at 4:45pm.

The Youth Council is a youth advisory body to Gosford City Council and other youth bodies in the Gosford City local government areas.

"Our main aim is to make Gosford City a better place to live for young people," said president Amy Bauder.

"We are currently trying to gain standardised policy from the local bus companies on youth fares.

"We have had some success with the Mayor, Cr Chris Holstein, and the Council's Traffic Committee currently investigating the situation.

"We are also currently trying to boost our membership.

"Anyone aged 12 to 25 years is welcome to attend our meetings and have an impact on the future of the Gosford area."

July's meeting will be held at the Labyrinth Cafe, cnr Baker and Erina Sts, Gosford, on Tuesday, July 11, at 4:45pm.
