Schools perform at Laycock St
Several Peninsula schools will perform in the Schools Showcase on September 14 and 15 at Laycock St Theatre.
Woy Woy Public School will present The Homecoming, which has been selected for the grand final of the Wakakiri competition.
This will be the only chance to see it on the Central Coast.
The showcase will also feature Ashleigh Stahl, a vocalist from Brisbane Secondary College Woy Woy Campus, who will also appear at this year's Schools Spectacular to be staged at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
Ettalong Public School will perform its award-winning primary Rock Eisteddfod item.
The Schools Showcase started six years ago as a program of dance, drama, vocal, and instrumental performance.
This year almost 900 students from Kindergarten to Year 12 will perform in the two concerts, with many of the students having already performed in local productions.
Over 40 schools will be represented.
School shows start at 11am with general admission shows starting at 7:30pm.
Arrangements and price inquiries can be made to Lianne at Laycock St Theatre on 4323 7299.
