Software training offered in Fiji

A Umina software business is looking at flying its clients to Fiji for training and development programs.

ClockOn managing director Dr Graham MyIne said that, with the imminent commencement of low cost airfares to Fiji by Virgin Blue, his company was considering the package as a way of promoting the software.

Dr Mylne said the programs would be offered at Treasure Island, one of Fiji's offshore resorts.

The resort had more than 100 employees and was a user of the ClockOn business management software.

It had agreed to be the prime reference site for ClockOn in the region.

Dr Mylne recently returned from a five-day "trade mission" to Fiji, where he spoke with four prospective users, three prospective distributors and the IT department of the three major banks in Suva.
