Man in hospital after collision

A 40-year-old Umina man was taken to Gosford hospital last week with several injuries after a fatal collision along Enterprise Dr at Berkley Vale.

A westbound blue Hyundai sedan and an eastbound 1980 Landcruiser collided head-on.

A 52-year-old Long Jetty man driving the Hyundai died at the scene.

Police from the Tuggerah Lakes Local Area Command are investigating the crash, with the assistance of crime scene investigators from the Forensic Services Group.

Central Coast police will prepare a report for the coroner.
