Award winners at folk club

Wheelers and Dealers, winners of the 2003 Music Oz Best Folk Song award, will bring their blend of traditional and contemporary music to Woy Woy on September 10.

Band members include Chris Wheeler on vocals, Irish flute, whistle and recorder, Ged Corben on guitar and mandolin and recorder and Tony Pyrzakowski on fiddle.

They delve into Celtic, country, bluegrass, ragtime and eastern European music styles to produce a blend of unique songs and instrumental pieces.

Wheelers and Dealers will also be appearing at the Umina Beach Folk Festival.

They will play the Masonic Hall, opposite the Woy Woy railway station on Friday, September 10, at 8pm.
