New store owner one of youngest
Local resident John Milne has become the new owner of a pizza store in Umina.
Aged 22, he is one of the youngest Eagle Boys storeowners nationally.
He has over four years experience in the industry and believes his hands-on experience will benefit the Eagle Boys Umina team.
With future plans to upgrade the shopfront and introduce a new computer system, John said he was delighted with his new business venture.
"I was attracted to Eagle Boys because it is at the forefront of the industry and has introduced Australia's first instant pizza system."
Mr Milne said he was thrilled that at his age he had been given the opportunity to be a part of the Eagle Boys chain and was looking forward to making further improvements to the service already enjoyed at Umina."
"Some of my plans include a fresh store fit-out," he said.
Managing director and founder of Eagle Boys, Mr Tom Potter, who opened his first store in Albury at the age of 23, said age should not be a barrier in business.
"Some of Eagle Boys most successful and hard working franchisees are also our youngest," Mr Potter said.
The Eagle Boys Umina store currently employs 25 local staff.
