Patonga gets ADSL
Patonga has been provided with ADSL broadband data services and better mobile coverage in work recently commissioned by Telstra.
Work at mobile base stations is also expected to improve mobile coverage at Woy Woy.
Telstra Country Wide Central Coast manager Mr Phil Lammert said access to high-quality communication services was vital to modern business.
He said a new asymmetric digital subscriber line (ADSL) demand register had been launched to enable local communities to bring broadband to their area and to drive growth.
He said ADSL allowed customers to access the internet at faster speeds over a standard phone line.
Mr Lammert said he believed Telstra Country Wide were making major advances to ensure that communications technology was made available to as many customers as quickly as possible.
