Alison leaves
Alison Branley has left her position as journalist and production coordinator at Peninsula News after a year and moved on to another newspaper.
Alison showed a great deal of ability and enthusiasm for the paper and introduced many innovations, according to editor Mr Mark Snell.
Alison worked in a voluntary capacity with the newspaper for a year before she joined the staff a year ago.
"In her short time in the position, Alison made many acquaintances in the community and quickly gained the respect of her peers," he said.
Alison has been replaced by Lyle Stone who started during one of the paper's busiest periods.
In his first two weeks, Lyle was involved with the publication of three other journals as well as the production of the 100th edition of Peninsula News.
The paper's staff and association committee members have thanked her for her efforts and wished her well in her future endeavours, and have welcomed Lyle Stone to the staff.
