Business is a dream

Proprietor Chris Marsh fulfilled a 26-year dream when she opened her business in Ettalong in July.

Chris, who commutes daily from Watanobbi, selected Ettalong as a location for Dar De Dar Gifts because she could see the potential in the area.

There were no gift shops there even though the club and the hotel appeared to be progressing well.

She did live in the area for a few years and she particularly liked the atmosphere in Ettalong at present.

"I like to help people" she said "and this is a way of doing so as many people come in here and share their problems with me and I feel that when they leave here they are much better for it."

Chris has an unusual range of gifts, which includes hand-painted glassware.
