Appeal support wanted

The Peninsula Red Shield Committee has written to businesses around the Peninsula seeking support for the Salvation Army Red Shield Appeal.

The Appeal is hoping to raise $460,000 on the Central Coast.

Among the services provided by the Salvation Army run are a community service centre in Umina, emergency services and telephone counselling

They also provide Recovery Services, Youth Support, Women's Crisis Support, Emergency Services and Aged Care on the Central Coast.
