College attends 'United Nations'

Two teams represented Brisbane Water Secondary College at the Model United Nations Asembly (MUNA) at the University of Newcastle in April.

Teams have to take on the role of a country and represent their adopted country's culture and interest in the "United Nations".

The first team represented North Korea and consisted of Alex Beaton, Daniel Stone and Eric Thorsby and the second team consisted of Max Harwood, Kate Kennedy and Will Henderson who represented Syria.

After a day of challenges and debate, Kincumber High School (Israel) was declared overall winner, with Brisbane Water Secondary College's team representing North Korea coming third.
