Red noses on sale

Peninsula residents will be able to purchase Red Nose Day products from local businesses throughout the month of June.

These businesses include Coles Deepwater Plaza, Bi-Lo Umina, Amcal Umina and Woy Woy and Subway Woy Woy and Umina.

These businesses will be selling Red Noses and Red Nose Day soft toys.

Red Nose Day is a fund raising event that supports those families who have been affected by miscarriage, stillborn, neonatal death, SIDS and any other sudden or unexpected death of an infant.

In Australia last year, 120 babies died from SIDS and over 2300 babies and young children died from unexplained perinatal (from 20 weeks gestation to 20 days after birth) death, accidents and unexpected death.
