Support for parents of teenagers

Uniting Care Burnside Central Coast, in conjunction with Umina Uniting Church, is running the group over five weeks which supports parents as they face the challenge of coping with teenage children.

The group discusses topics such as normal development of teenagers, common problems and solutions, discipline, trust and responsibility and maintaining communication with teenagers.

The group is to meet over five consecutive Thursday nights starting May 8 from 7 to 9pm, at the Umina Uniting Church Community Centre, opposite Umina Mall, on Ocean Beach Rd corner with Neptune St.

There is no cost for the course and free child minding will be available.
