Teachers study for Master's degrees

A number of teachers at St John the Baptist Primary School are undertaking Master's degrees this year.

This year will be Mrs Suzanne Nichols' second year as school principal and she will be completing her Master's degree in education.

Ms Kerry Lord has taken up the position as assistant principal and has also commenced a Master's in educational leadership.

This year the school welcomes Mr Daniel Arial as the religious education co-ordinator.

He has partially completed a Master's degree in religious education at the Australian Catholic University.

Mrs Lynette Hannerl who is commencing her second year at St Johns will take up the role as maths co-ordinator.

Ms Danial Casa has joined the staff and will be teaching year 1.

Mr Daniel Lockwood has taken up the position of teaching year 5. This will be his first year out of the Catholic University and shown his enthusiasm in organising the annual swimming carnival held on February 25.
