Monologues performed

A series of monologues and "duologues" have been performed by Peninsula locals at the Gosford Regional Art Gallery in East Gosford on Saturday, March 29.

Brenda Logan, Joan Dalgleish and Sally Horsey acted the parts.

The material was written by local writer Jill Mather who also teaches at TAFE.

Brenda Logan of Koolewong trained in England and has worked in Sydney with the Bare Boards Company.

Since moving to Koolewong, she performed in the new Peninsula Theatre production "I Ought To Be in Pictures."

She is currently stage-managing "Winnie the Pooh" which opens at Easter, and is also directing a melodrama "The Perils of Purity Pickett", written by Joan Dalgleish.

It is to be performed for the Parents and Friends Association of the Central Coast Grammar School.

Joan Dalgleish is an actor and writer of 11 children's books.

She is remembered for her stunning performance as Her Ladyship in the play Ronald Harwood's "The Dresser".
