Preparing for whole school musical

Students from Pretty Beach Public School are preparing to perform in the school's second biennial whole school musical.

School principal Jill Godwin said the musical would involve every class and student.

"We were very proud of the results of our first effort two years ago," she said.

"This one will be even more special because it is the brainchild of our very own Narelle Jones.

"Yet to be named, the theme involves children visiting a television studio and encountering some of the productions underway.

"Each class will be introduced to their act this term and learn their songs and dances next term, for the final production at the end of Term 3.

"This will give plenty of time for each class to be involved with the design and construction of scenery and costumes.

"During next term, we will be calling on the expertise of parents to help to put the polish on the show.

"I'm looking forward to a repeat of the outstanding community participation that contributed to the success of 'Australians All'," Ms Godwin said.
