Water safety tower for Ocean Beach

Ocean Beach will get a water safety observation tower, following approval by Gosford Council.

The tower will be designed to provide a wide range view of the patrol area while protecting water safety personnel from the elements and ensuring minimal visual impact to beach-side residents.

The tower will be used by employed lifeguards during the week and volunteer lifesavers during the weekend and public holidays.

The cost of installing the tower was about $5000 and would be funded by Council’s Water Safety Levy.
