Kneelers and Grippers day rescheduled

The annual Kneelers and Grippers Charity Bowls Day was cancelled last month due to bad weather.

It has been rescheduled to be held at Woy Woy Bowling Club on Sunday, July 22, at 1pm.

This charity bowls day is organised by the St Vincent De Paul Society

and Masonic Lodge Morning Star of Woy Woy and sponsored by the Woy Woy

Bowling Club.

It has been an annual event for over 20 years, in which time donations of more than $60.000 have been given to charity.

Any bowler who wishes to play may register with the bowls secretary of

Woy Woy Bowling Club.

Those who are not bowlers but wish to support the day are invited to the club and take advantage of all that the club has to offer.

Over $1000 in prizes are to be won, donated by many Woy Woy businesses.

Money raised is equally divided between these two organisations and distributed to a worthy cause.

Last year $2200 was equally divided between St Judes Hostel for Men and Woy Woy District Hospital.
