Justin chosen for business program
Umina High School student Justin ODonoghue of Year 12 has been chosen to participate in the 2001 State Australian Business Week Program which is being organised by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Sydney.
Justin is one of 80 students chosen from all schools in NSW to attend a residential program for six days in the July school holidays.
The week was planned so that the students would work in teams of 10 with a business and teacher mentor, as the students make decisions for the operation of a million-dollar company over a simulated two years.
The exercise included designing and launching a new product.
Students would be taken through a series of activities to develop their team and leadership skills.
