New owner offers driveway service

A check of oil, water and tyres is being offered as part of a full driveway service by the new owner of the Bogas Service Station on Blackwall Rd, Woy Woy.

A Peninsula resident all his life, new owner Scott Miller was originally trained as a panel beater and spray painter.

However, for health reasons, he had to give up his trade and bought the radiator repair outlet on site at the service station.

When the service station became available recently, he decided to take that on as well.

The new venture means that he is now on call 12 hours of the day, seven days a week and has very little time off while the business is growing.

Bogas is a Central Coast owned petrol retailer and two of its six outlets are on the Peninsula.

Scott said he had no control over pricing with the retail price being set by the company on a daily basis.

His aim was to please the older residents by continuing to provide his full driveway service which he said was particularly appreciated by those who find it difficult getting in and out of their vehicles.
