Crossing not warranted

A pedestrian crossing will not be built near the intersection of Charlton St and Victoria Rd, Woy Woy, at this stage.

Gosford Council was told that pedestrian surveys had been carried out and had indicated "extremely low pedestrian activity in this area".

While recommending no pedestrian crossing, the council's traffic committee suggested that any "future proposal to provide a roundabout at this intersection include suitable pedestrian facilities".
