Town improvement rate set

A "town improvement" rate has been set for business property in Woy Woy, Ettalong and Umina.

Council resolved it was "of the opinion that the provision of certain facilities, services and works will be of special benefit to all properties categorised as Business in terms of Section 518 of the Local Government Act".

It resolved to make and levy a rate of 0.00039322 cents in the dollar calculated on the land value of all rateable land within that area categorised as Business.
