Placings for BMX riders

Patrick White and Andrew Hollinworth of Umina have competed in the central region zones for BMX racing over the past four months.

They have travelled as far as Taree, Port Stephens, Maitland, Lake Macquarie and to their home track at Terrigal to race against others in their age groups.

After competing in all five zones, Andrew Hollinworth placed second in a hotly-contested 15 years boys group,

Patrick White placed first in a competitive 10 years boys group.

The boys had to compete at all five tracks in order to qualify for the NSW State titles to be held at Tamworth in September.

Both boys are sponsored.
