Amanda makes it to the finals

Umina Public School student Amanda Gaston recently made it to the finals in try outs for the Sydney North Tennis Team.

Six children from Umina Public School went to Woy Woy tennis courts to try out for a Woy Woy Zone place at the Sydney North Tennis Trials on Friday, March 10.

They met with 18 other children from other schools in the zone.

Amanda Gaston was chosen as one of three girls to try out for the Sydney North team, reaching the finals.

Five other children in the trials were Ashleigh Coates, Lukas da Costa-Reidel, Connor Austine, Kerrod Meyers and Jack Irving.
