Lions donate kits

The Ettalong Umina Lions Club has donated $3200 in medical equipment to the Ettalong Beach Ambulance Station.

The equipment, two soft-pack "Oxy Viva" packs, was described as up-to-date all-inclusive medical kits, which should allow the ambulance service to be more efficient.

Bill Pettaway from the ambulance station was on hand to receive the packs from Lions Club representatives Geoffrey Smith, Helen Anderson and Jim Hodgins.

The money was raised through the annual debutante ball held each April at Ettalong Beach Memorial Club.
