Residents foil intruder
Booker Bay residents have foiled several attempted home invasions in the past month.
The first resident was an older woman who was watching television in one part of her house while flyscreens were being removed from another part of the house.
The second intrusion was by a young man claiming he was selling raffle tickets for Woy Woy Leagues Club.
When the club was contacted, officials said that there was no such raffle.
In the third house, the intruder climbed a fence onto a garage roof and onto a second floor balcony startling the resident.
The intruder quickly scampered away after being questioned by the resident.
The youth involved is male, aged between 18 and 25 years, tall, with dark hair and Anglo Saxon appearance.
Police have urged residents to lock doors and windows even when they are in their houses.
Extra patrols of the area are being made.
