Volleyball loss to Wyong

Woy Woy High's open girls volleyball team lost to Wyong High in the state knockout competition.

A spokesperson for the team said the girls played very well although losing 3-0.

"The Wyong team was more experienced.

"All the girls put in a huge effort, especially Hayley Oliver, Aimee Cardwell and Jordana Bruce.

"They should all be congratulated for their efforts."

Other members of the squad were Sara Hobbs, Mereoni Brown, Carly Paterick, Sarah Clifford, Sara Collins, Maryann Byrnes, Karlie Waterson, Lauren Robertson, Melinda Hynes and Melissa Varley.
