Donated sunglasses reach Ugandan school
Teachers and support staff at Divine Mercy Montessori and primary school in Buwampa, Uganda, have received 50 pairs of sunglasses through a program run by the Rotary Club of Brisbane Water.
The club provides funds to the school through the Rotary Australia World Community Service program to ensure the school's continued operation.
The sunglasses were donated by Ettalong Diggers Club.
Rotary Brisbane Water president Ms Sue O'Neill sent greetings from Uganda.
"The picture is of all our teachers and support staff at Divine Mercy Montessori and primary school in Buwampa Uganda, rocking the sunnies donated by Ettalong Diggers.
"They were thrilled to receive and asked I pass on their big thanks."
