Four receive major awards at sports presentation
Four students of Brisbane Water Secondary College have received major awards at the college's Sporting Excellence Presentation evening.
They were Jacob Falconer, Grace Dabin, Lachlan Muldrock and Phoebe Graf.
Jacob Falconer was named Senior Boy Sports Person of the Year.
He was recognised for his NSW representation and gold medal performances at the NSW Combined High School swimming championships and the All Schools championships, as well as multiple college and Sydney North swimming, cross country, and athletics performances.
Grace Dabin was named Senior Girl Sports Person of the Year for her NSW rugby union representation and athletics age championship.
Lachlan Muldrock was named Junior Boy Sports Person of the Year.
He was recognised for his Sydney North representation at the Combined High School swimming championships and representing Brisbane Water Zone at swimming, athletics and cross country.
Phoebe Graf was named Junior Girl Sports Person of the Year.
She was recognised for a gold medal at the NSW Combined High Schools waterpolo championships, selection in the 2023 NSW Combined High School waterpolo Squad, and being a member of the Under-15 College basketball team, which secured fourth place in the state, and represented at Sydney North swimming championships.
The presentation evening was supported by music students Gresha Nevarette and Rhiarna Edwards-Saladrau, as well as by hospitality students and teachers.
