Four years on and no decision on koala relocation
It has been four years since money was granted for a study to determine whether koalas could be re-introduced to Pearl Beach.
"The initial study done by the University of Sydney was going to be six months before a decision could be made," said Pearl Beach Patonga Koala Group convenor Ms Ann Parsons.
"It has now been four years and still no decision."
Ms Parsons said Brisbane Water National Park had now been surveyed by the University of Sydney, Central Coast Council and National Parks to check if it was a feasible area for translocation.
