Third term of creative writing

The third term of creative writing classes begins on Thursday, July 31, in the CWA hall, opposite Fisherman's Wharf from 12 to 2pm.

Four members' stories have been published by one magazine recently, paying a minimum of $600 each.

Others have won prizes or commendations in Australian and regional competitions.

Three of our number have written novels and are negotiating with publishers.

Classes are held weekly for eight weeks. Vacancies exist, but numbers are limited.

There are no examinations but plenty of help is available.

Beginners are welcome.
