Brisbane Waters was most satisfying

Brisbane Waters Private Hospital in Woy Woy has won the number one ranking in New South Wales for overall patient satisfaction, according to the HCF health fund's most recent patient satisfaction survey.

"This is an extensive survey embracing both public and private hospitals throughout NSW and winning the number one ranking is a great tribute to the wonderful staff we have working at Brisbane Waters," commented hospital chief executive Mr Graham McGuinness.

"I believe what set us apart was the fact that our staff really appreciate that a hospital stay can be a daunting experience and they constantly go out of their way to do that little bit extra for their patients.

"This is particularly important when it comes to keeping patients well Informed of their treatment and progress and provides them with a greater sense of assurance and comfort," Mr McGuinness said.

Brisbane Waters has consistently performed well in the survey, but this is the first time it has won.

"Given the wide range of surgery it performs and the complexity of its services, the result is very satisfying to its dedicated and hard working staff."
