Development fees waived

Gosford Council has agreed to refund a total of $17,643 in development application fees to Hammond Care Group after it was established that it is a not-for-profit organisation.

The group originally requested that council waive water and sewer contributions for a proposed nursing home and hospital on lot 1 Railway St, Woy Woy.

Council refused request to waive the sewer contributions, but agreed that as some other councils waive building and development application fees for non-profit organisations, Gosford Council should do so when requested.
