Information sought on robbery

Gosford police are appealing to the public for information following an armed robbery at a Woy Woy shopping centre on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 2.

Police were told a man entered a clothing store in Deepwater Plaza about 4pm.

The man allegedly produced a knife and threatened a staff member before taking an amount of money and running out of the store.

A staff member chased the man through the centre and into the carpark.

The man was described as being about 170cm tall, aged in his late 20s to early 30s with short dark hair and a tanned complexion.

He wore a dark blue shirt, stone wash denim jeans and blue and white joggers.
