New show at theatre

Dance City Theatricals, a group attached to Peninsula Dance and Theatre School, is putting on a new show called "Seven".

It is a show in a musical theatre style and is suitable for adults and older children.

Three double passes to the show are available for the first three callers to 4342 1382.

The show will be playing at the Peninsula Theatre on Friday, July 18, at 8pm and on Saturday, July 19, at 2pm and 8pm.

Producer and director Angela Denman said: "This is a musical that has something for everyone.

"Take a light hearted journey through the seven deadly sins, with musical highlights from 42nd St, Cabaret, Sweet Charity and Moulin Rouge, as well as songs from the top 40 dance charts."

Presented by Dance City Theatricals, most of the performers are high school students.

"Who needs Australian Idols when we have all the talent right here on the Coast," said Ms Denman.

Tickets are $12 and can be booked by calling 4342 1382 or 0407 782 549, or they can be purchased at the door.
