Ron wins trip to Hollywood

Umina resident Ron Connell has won a holiday to Universal Studios in Hollywood for two adults and two children.

He won the prize in McDonald's "When Australia Wins You Win" Olympic Games promotion.

The prize is valued at $8,396 and comprises return air travel and transfers to Los Angeles, accommodation at the Ramada West Hollywood Hotel for five nights, and one day entry for the Party to Universal Studios.

Ron's entry was drawn in the second-chance prize draw from unclaimed prizes in the promotion.

Ron Connell is a regular at the MoDonald's Woy Woy restaurant where he saw the Second Chance Draw barrel and thought "why not?".

"I am full of praise for McDonald's. The staff are wonderful," Ron said.

"I am elated to have won this prize."

Owner-operator of McDonald's Woy Woy, Mr John Ursino, said: "We are thrilled that one of our customers has won a major prize."
