New classroom ordered

The Coast Christian School at Bensville has ordered a new demountable building for next year in anticipation of growing student numbers.

Head teacher Mr Alan Reynolds said the school's board hoped to have the new building installed before the start of term one.

""We were not able to get hold of any second-hand buildings and apparently when they do become available, there's not a big difference in price," he said.

"The new building will house our library and computers.

"The building will be funded initially by a bank loan which will be serviced by growing student enrolments and government start-up assistance for new schools."
