Business win four regional awards

Peninsula businesses did well at last months Central Coast Business Awards, winning four categories.

All the winners were from Umina Beach.

Winners were Bremen Patisserie in the Bakery-Cake Shop category, Umina Beach Bowling Club in the Clubs with fewer than 8000 members, Century 21 in the Real Estate category and Ocean Beach Outdoor Sports in the Service and Trade category.

About 750 business people attended the awards held at the Central Coast Leagues Club.

Century 21 Realty Associates principal Mr Frank Serra said: "It was great to win, especially after being finalists in 1996, 1997 and 1999.

"This is a fitting tribute to our highly-qualified staff who are totally dedicated to providing outstanding service.

"We wish to thank all clients who nominated our agency and will continue to maintain the high standards."

The agency was a regular winner in the Century 21 award system, said Mr Serra.

The most recent winner was Kevin Harper (also known as Big Kev) for outstanding sales success.

The prestigious Emerald Award went to the agency's property management department, staffed by Cheryl Bennett, Kerry Asciak, Lyndal Chamberlain and Tina Addison.
