Editorial
Welcome to the final edition of Peninsula News for the year 2000.
In this edition, more than any previous edition, readers will find a great deal of entertainment information. Major clubs, eateries, community groups and businesses have ensured that their information is included to complement the Whats On section.
Readers will be able to use the paper as an entertainment guide for the entire four-week period.
Observant readers will also notice a new name, Sally Lambert, appearing at the bottom of many articles.
Sally hails from Wagstaffe and has just completed her first year of a communications degree at Newcastle University.
Sally has been able to put her journalism skills and what she has learnt to good use on our behalf and her assistance has been most welcome.
The office of Peninsula News will be closed from December 25 until January 3 as we take a short break.
Staff, volunteers and committee members would like to wish all of our readers, advertisers and supporters a merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year.
We look forward to even greater communication with you next year.
Cec Bucello, Manager
