Zoomobile visits

The Taronga Park Zoomobile visited kindergarten children at Ettalong Public School recently.

According to their teachers, the children were very excited and thrilled to see animals that many of the children had never seen before.

It was a hands-on experience, allowing the children to hold and touch an echidna, a shingleback lizard, a possum, Henry the Gan Gan Parrot, a baby crocodile, a green tree frog and Little Spot, the diamond python.

The children learned about the natural environment of each animal and about their varying appearances and different needs.

The children and their teachers thanked Paul, from Taronga Zoo, who was both educational and entertaining.
