Boys make rep side

Representative honours are again abundant this season for the Umina District Junior Cricket Club.

In what is one of its strongest showings ever, the club has had seven of its players selected by the Gosford Wyong District Junior Cricket Association to play in both the District Cricket Association and Hunter Valley competitions.

The games take place on Sundays throughout December and January, with the District Cricket Association games including teams such as Bankstown and Penrith, while the Hunter competition includes venues as far afield as Morpeth and Maitland.

The boys selected are Ross Watson (U/15), Ben Crowson (U/15), Nathan Crowson (U/12), Chris Clement, Daniel Friend and Matthew Jones (U/11), and Matt Goodwin (U/10).
