Mother wins lottery

A 45 year-old mother of two plans to celebrate after winning the second prize of $10,000 in $2 Jackpot Lottery draw 7278 this month.

"I'm absolutely delighted. It couldn't have happened at a better time," the stunned woman told a NSW Lotteries official.

"I will be able to pay some outstanding bills and help my son with paying off his car," she said.

To celebrate her win she said she planned "to buy a new outfit".

The child care worker said she had been regularly buying lottery tickets for nearly 20 years.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Ettalong Beach Newsagency in Ocean View Road at Ettalong Beach.
