Oval lease changed

Gosford Council has agreed to changes on a proposed lease of Woy Woy Oval to Woy Woy Leagues Club and Woy Woy Junior Rugby League Football Club.

The clubs asked for the addition of a mini-league field on the eastern side of the ground and the deletion of proposed plantings along the eastern fenceline off the plan.

They also asked for the deletion of a proposed planting along the southern side of the ground on the spectators' mound.

The draft plan was prepared in consultation with the clubs and had been placed on public exhibition.

Council's director of works, Mr Stephen Glen, said the requested changes were minor in nature. He recommended the changes be allowed.
