Web youth centre is open

The Web Youth Centre is open four days of the week.

Teenagers between the age of 12 and 18 can call in on any of the open days.

The centre is open Wednesday to Saturday.

Some of the activities and services include assistance in writing resumes, job applications and interview skills, educational workshops, a pool competition, computers, table tennis and guitar playing.

A nurse is on duty once a week to discuss health issues.

A drug and alcohol educator is also available once a week.

General problems can be discussed and one-on-one support is available.

The centre opens at 9am on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3pm on Fridays and 4.30 on Saturdays.
