Forums for older women
Woy Woy Older Women's Network (OWN) has arranged a series of practical forums to inspire and affirm older women.
The sessions will start at 10.15 am in the Woy Woy Leagues Club in Blackwall Road, on the first Friday of each month from May to October,
Morning tea will be provided. A gold coin donation will be appreciated.
At each session, a guest speaker will provide an overview of the particular topic and encourage participants to become involved in discussion.
On Friday, May 5, "Which colours work for you?" will be presented by Dilys Griffiths.
On Friday, June 2, "Working for the Community" will be facilitated by Lynne Bockholt, a respected councillor with Gosford Council.
On Friday, July 7, "Acceptance of Change" will be facilitated by Margaret Sargent, internationally known sociologist and longtime member of Sydney Older Women's Network. Margaret will focus on how older women can participate in our fast-changing society.
