Dogs do as dogs do

It is such a shame that some dog owners do not pay attention to easy-to-see Council signs and follow park and reserve regulations by keeping their dogs out when it is so stipulated.

Dogs do as dogs do and, as a result of these inconsiderate people, others who wish to enjoy a picnic in the park can unnecessarily have their day ruined by disgusting dog turds which inevitably end up in places of great inconvenience.

Recently on a picnic to Pioneer Park at beautiful Point Frederick, a large group of us were plagued not only by little mounds but also by the smell of the litter, which seemed to be everywhere.

For the sake of everyone’s enjoyment could dog owners who currently allow their pets freedom in public places, please take responsibility for them and take a bag and a scooper with you?
