We deserve better libraries

Franklins opens at 8am and closes at either 5 pm or 9 pm everyday. It has plenty of space for customers and plenty of resources.

Yet our municipal libraries at Gosford and Woy Woy open very few hours, have very few resources and very little space.

These outdated municipal libraries don't even collect many local newspapers and they open when they like. Have you ever tried Wednesday mornings? They're always closed.

How can our children, let alone our adults, learn with so few and such outdated library facilities?

One can learn more at the local club, the local TAB, or at the local pub.

Nobody ever finds the library open, let alone finds anything.

Residents of Gosford and Woy Woy deserve better. These libraries are outhouses.
