Ettalong comes second

One of the Central Coast’s most prestigious bowls events, the Woy Woy Night Maestro Triples, has finished with the Ettalong Club as runners-up.

Eighty-two teams from the Central Coast, Sydney and as far afield as Taree entered the competition held at the Woy Woy Bowling Club.

Mr Ray White, Woy Woy Bowling Club publicity officer, said the final was a beauty.

Col Bray, Ken Mounter and Barry Eyles from the Bateau Bay side beat Col Brooks, John Falconer and John Milne from the Ettalong Club 22-14.

In other Woy Woy Bowling Club news, Jamie Noonan and Graham Kenney will play the final after beating Alan Rogers and George Evans respectively in the semi-finals.

The Woy Woy Club will also waive all green fees for Mens bowls during May.
